Camogie:
History makers - Our Fé 12 camogie players.
Last Saturday, April 1, our Fé 12 panel travelled to Ballygiblin to play in a blitz. This was an historic day for the club, as this is the first juvenile camogie team ever to represent Fermoy.
We played two matches against St Fanahan's and Kilworth respectively. Considering that nearly all our girls are complete newcomers to the game, they acquitted themselves well against two experienced teams. It's onwards and upwards from here for camogie in Fermoy. We have a great bunch of enthusiastic girls across the various age groups and we'll be up and running with some competitive teams in no time.
Parents will be kept updated by text and on facebook regarding arrangements over the Easter period.

On Saturday we travelled to Kanturk where our U16s played a hurling league match. This again was a good performance especially when most of the panel played the night before. We also won this game on a scoreline of 4.10 to 3.16.

This weekend we have the annual U15 Pa O'Brien Football memorial tournament this Easter Saturday. Our U15 team will be representing Fermoy this year. Pa was a great player, great friend and clubman in his own right and won many matches in the black and amber. Please come out and support this great tournament in memory of Pa and we would like to see our U15 getting some support and encouragement on the day. .
